Work with me

I work with design-led studios, fintech and financial platforms, luxury brands, and cultural institutions on the verbal side of brand building.

Voice systems, naming, website and product copy, and editorial work where tone matters as much as content.

Verbal Identity & Voice Systems
I define a brand’s voice through clear principles, tone guidelines, narrative anchors, and applied examples. The result is a working system that supports design and keeps language consistent in every context.

Financial & Regulated Communications
Client and advisor communications, onboarding language, platform microcopy, and UX copy for fintech and wealth management platforms. Built to earn trust, reduce friction, and survive compliance review.

Naming & Lexical Direction
I develop naming territories, longlists and shortlists with rationale. The process includes an early-stage availability scan and aims for clarity, distinctiveness, and linguistic precision. Names that hold up legally and culturally. Checked across languages, not just the obvious ones.

Website & Product Copy
I apply the voice to the pages that define the brand. Clear hierarchy, precise tone, copy that says what it means. And the rules that make it repeatable without me in the room.

Editorial Projects
Exhibition texts, essays, case studies, founder letters, and reports for brands and cultural institutions.

About

I've spent my life studying how language carries cultural weight.

In Tel Aviv's secular renaissance of the eighties, I grew up surrounded by writers, artists, and journalists. In the nineties I lived in San Francisco's counterculture and spent time in Mexico City during its cinematic resurgence. Nearly twenty years in New York City followed, with stints in Zurich and Paris. And later, a few years in Tbilisi's visual arts scene, where I've exhibited my own work and written for galleries.

My work translates meaning and visual codes into voice for luxury brands, startups, design-led studios, and institutions. I've worked as a translator, editor, and writer in creative, fashion, and financial contexts, where precision matters as much as human-ness.

I treat visual and verbal identity as the same conversation. When words don't inhabit the same world as the design, people feel it. Now that competent language can be generated by anyone, taste is the only differentiator.

I hold an MFA in Literary Translation from the University of Iowa and a JD from Brooklyn Law School.
