Anapea: Verbal Identity & Wine Descriptions

Brand Voice and Product Copy

An eco-village winery reviving centuries-old methods needed descriptions that could work for both wine connoisseurs and visitors discovering their approach. The copy had to carry technical depth without losing the human story behind each bottle.

I developed wine descriptions that ground technical detail in story, place, and process. The tone translates complex winemaking into approachable language while maintaining the authority sommeliers expect.

Step Into The Anapea Experience

Welcome to Anapea, an eco-village in Georgia's Kakheti region, where we've revived centuries-old winemaking traditions within a sustainable ecosystem. Here, winemaking and living coexist just as they once did. Wander through our organic vineyards, discover the ancient Qvevris, enjoy a concert, and stay in our Kakhetian homes.

Each bottle of Anapea wine tells the story of our commitment to organic farming inspired by age-old techniques, and our passion for creating truly exceptional wines.

Harmony in a Bottle: Anapea's Low-Intervention Wines Khikhvi 2020 Often called the 'unsung hero' of Eastern Georgian viticulture, Khikhvi 2020 reveals the hidden treasures of lesser-known grapes. Its bouquet evokes wildflowers and ripe orchard fruits. Fermented with whole skins in Qvevri for six months and aged for two years underground, this wine blends tradition with modern artistry.

Selected Wine Descriptions

Vardisperi Rkatsiteli 2020 Made from the rare Pink Rkatsiteli grape, discovered in 1948 by chance, this wine is a true gem. Fermented in Qvevri for five months and aged for two years, it presents a light golden hue with subtle pink tones. Aromas of roses and golden raisins mingle with citrus, plums, and raspberry, finishing with a refined touch of bitter herbs and pink grapefruit. Best enjoyed cool, it's a glass full of Georgian sunshine and joy.

Sandro 2020 A blend of Kisi, Khikhvi, and Mtsvane, hand-harvested and co-fermented in Qvevri. After seven months of skin contact and two years of aging, Sandro 2020 offers dried apricots and sun-kissed fruits on the nose, with layers of white cherry jam and tropical fruit on the palate. At 14% ABV, it pairs well with fish, red meat, or Asian cuisine.

Kisi 2020 Some say the Kisi grape is a blend of Mtsvane and Rkatsiteli, but we like to think it has a soul all its own. Kisi 2020 has a radiant amber glow and a story in every glass. Its flavor profile offers notes of peach, ripe orchard fruits, and dried apricots, balanced by medium-strong tannins and fresh acidity. After fermenting in Qvevri with skin contact for six months, it matures for a year, bringing depth and character.

Mtsvane 2020 With its striking amber color, combines aromas of dried grasses and apricots. Fermented for six months in Qvevri and aged for a year, Mtsvane 2020 offers a full-bodied, dry profile with a zesty acidity, embodying Georgia's winemaking history in every sip.
